RIVER is a beautiful coonhound girl, approx 5 yrs old. She is on the small side for a coonhound. River is a GEM with a heart of gold! 

All she wants is to be with a human, getting lots of cuddles, head rubs and lovins. She also loves to play with her sloth baby toy, and runs out into the yard every morning to find her baby and toss her around playfully for a long time before coming into the house for a nap.  

River is crate trained, has picked up potty training quickly, and is soo excited to be living inside a house for the first time ever! She has retired from her career as a hunting dog and is looking forward to a couch and human of her own!

She likes to ride in the car and will jump right in! River gets along well with men and women both, and she likes children but gets a little excited and might accidentally knock down a smaller kid.

A fenced yard would be best for River as she is still learning how to walk on the leash and is pretty strong. She loves to race around the yard prancing and pouncing around. She can entertain herself pretty easily!
