Meet Phoebe, a sweet ,  pretty  and intelligent  hound mix with a bright personality.  She’s about one year old, and is spayed and housebroken.  She’s excited to be part of a stable, loving, and attentive household.  She’ll steal your heart, and maybe also your unattended snack.

She responds well to reward and praise, especially when there’s food involved, but can also be possessive of food and toys. She doesn’t appear to have had anyone take the time to train her, but is now quick to learn new tricks and behaviors. She responds appreciatively to treats and  cheer y voices. 

She’s new to socialization, but with patience, she’ll acclimate well to other people and animals, especially when they take the time to play with her.  She loves meeting new people, and warms up to them quicky.  She’s tolerant of children , even very small ones,  so long as they don’t try to take her food or toys.  She would probably prefer to be the top dog in the household, but will befriend other pets in time.

She   definitely  has  the talkative traits of a hound, and will alert you to strangers nearby, but becomes quieter after she’s had time to acclimate to a new environment.

She’s still getting used to spending time alone in her crate, but she doesn’t put up a stink about going in her kennel.

She has the energy to play and go for walks with  you,  but is equally appreciative of relaxing downtime at home. She won’t hog your space, but is happy to keep your feet warm at snuggle time.  She’s very soft.
