Hi! I’m Arthur! I’m a young guy, estimated to be about 2  years old. I came from Ohio but don’t know much about myself before that. My foster mom has fallen deeply in love with me and wants to make sure I go to the very best home. I  am great with other dogs. I love to wrestle and do “zoomies” with the other dogs in my foster home so it’d be great to have a buddy. I am a typical beagle in a lot of ways. I try to escape from my fenced yard (and am sometimes successful) to follow my nose, but I don’t tend to go too far. I also have recently decided garbage is fun to get into but don’t do it all the time. I’m not much into being crated but understand I may need to be sometimes when you leave me alone. After I’ve expended my energy I am the sweetest, most loving baby. I curl up on the bed and just rest up. I sleep with my foster mom now and am perfect once it’s time to settle down. I love my food and treats. I’m still learning how to sit and not jump up. I’d do best in a fenced in yard with room to roam, sniff and run. I haven’t been around kids but imagine I would do well with them. I’m up to date on all shots, neutered and heartworm negative. I did test positive for being exposed to Lyme but don’t exhibit any symptoms and have been on a month long protocol to address it. I can’t wait to find my forever home.
