Hi, my name is Snoozer! As far as names go, it’s a pretty fitting one for me. I’m a middle aged, laid back kind of guy that doesn’t mind snoozing the days away with you on a comfy couch. Here’s what my temporary foster family has found out about me so far:
- I’m a smart cookie! I know how to sit, shake a paw, lay dow, sit “pretty”, and speak. I don’t tend to care so much about dry dog biscuits, but I’ll do anything for some pupperoni.
- I’m a huge cuddle bug and love being close to my favorite people. I’ve also never met a stranger I didn’t like! If given the chance, I’ll lean right into you and stare up at you with my big, brown puppy dog eyes to ask for more love. Butt scratches are also a favorite! They make my toes do a tippy tap dance! I’m not a huge kisser, so earning a lick from me is very special.
- One of my favorite pastimes is to sit and watch the world go by outside my window. I’m very interested in joining your neighborhood watch. So much better than TV! My foster parents haven’t heard my beagle bay, but I’ll probably whine if I see something that catches my eye.
- I’m potty trained! No accidents for this boy. And as a bonus, I always sleep through the night. This isn’t my first walk around the block!
- I tolerate other dogs, but I also wouldn’t mind being your one and only. If I will have a fur brother or sister, they should know how to respect my boundaries. I prefer friends with energy levels similar to my own. No cats for me, please.
- I enjoy going on walks around the neighborhood. I can be pretty strong, especially if I catch a good scent - I am a beagle after all! I really enjoyed chewing on a bully stick that my foster parents gave me (I don’t resource guard), and I played fetch with my ball for a little bit one day. My personality is starting to emerge day by day!
- I do not seem to enjoy car rides. They make me feel very nervous and stressed. I think I prefer waiting for you at home vs. going on excursions.
Are you the right fit for me? I can’t wait to find my family and get settled in. Couch surfing is alright, but there’s nothing that compares to having a home of your own. Hope to meet you soon!
