Ruby is a 15 month old Black and Tan coonhound. She is a fun and feisty girl who would do best in a home with another playful dog to keep her company. Ruby has really blossomed over the last 3 months from a timid, fearful dog to a playful, sweet pup. She loves everyone she meets and will be your best friend. She is exceptionally smart and would do well with a family or individual who wants to teach her tricks or maybe even agility. Ruby does lack boundaries and is a larger dog, so she would do best in a home with kids 10 and up. As she gets a little older and used to being an indoor dog, she should get better with them. She will need an active home who can walk or run her daily as well as a tall, 6ft fenced in yard. She can escape 4ft fences. She is extremely loving and only wants to please her person. She just wants a warm couch to snuggle up on and someone to love her unconditionally. Ruby is housetrained so long as you keep a schedule with her. She is currently working with a trainer on crate training and mild to moderate separation anxiety. A home with one person home most of the time would be best for her. She is still in her puppy phase so she loves to get into things she’s not supposed to when she’s unsupervised or bored. Ruby is spayed and UTD on shots. She knows how to sit and down and we are working on come and stay.
